Varanophile
Just noticed that you can not do classified on TM anymore...poos!!! I have a batch of extra special frogs for sale in 2 weeks and looks like I will have to do auctions...does anyone know how to get around this? If you like frogs then save your $$, a bit late for Xmas, but these are stunning..watch this space.

Insect Direct
not really a way around it, pain in the a, rules changed the day i tried list a classified for my crickets  i had few heatered emails with tm as they used to pull auctions for anything rare (if someone complained) as it was policy not to auction living things like turtles because highest bidder wasnt necessarily going to good home. now you can only auction the reptiles but not dogs or even guinea pigs, full turn around they seen the dolla signs......... joke huh can list classified for lost frogs though
Varanophile
put a buy now on yeah but you can sell to the highest bidder, meaning you have to run many different auctions....and pay the 6.9% success fee.
Insect Direct
buy now works - but you have to pay success fees for every sale - everyone sees the quantites you sell and cant just email and ask questions. can sorta understand where they coming from as some list classified all summer selling copious amount paying just the once off listing fee but still

alanmin4304
There is nothing preventing you from puting up an auction for one frog then when the buyer makes contact you can sell them 10 and it still only shows as one. It becomes one buyer rather than one frog.
David R
List them as dogs or guinea pigs? Tell TradeMe they're not biologists and they had better know they're stuff if they are going to try tell you otherwise...
alanmin4304
Problem is they just remove it and send you an Email. I had it with turtles 1 list under fish 2 now list under other 3 now list as classified 4 now back to auction Don't sell too many, they may create another catagory for frogs. Bloody strains
HaNs
yes....I guess they can tell how much you make. Under 30k no GST registration..no? Isnt it 40k. I do it anyway so i can claim gst and costs back. The end user pays gst so its quite good to be gst reged
