David R
Is anyone breeding them, are they likely to be more available in the future? If/when we can set up a larger outdoor enclosure I'd like to look at keeping a group of these guys, as I've heard they're a bit more tolerant of out climate (as adults) and can be kept outdoors year-round. What sorta price do they go for?

smeauwa
Yea na depending where you come from. fine in auckland/ north. with a winter heatlamp n rain cover. i know off a coastal beardie breeder ,from PALMASTON NORTH who had them outside n winter( with a light bulb in an avairy) so basicly the same thing. i dont see her selling many but sooooo you do the math
livingart
yes you need a bit more than a light bulb in winter
David R
Do they brumate over winter like P. vitticeps? If so then wouldn't it be easier just to bring them indoors for the winter then put them back out when they wake up?
