Dave+Amy
I've discovered my Blue Rams picking on tiny/miniscule eggs on the glass and the anubias in their corner, just wanting to know which fish it could belong to. The eggs are about the size of a pin tip, ranging from clear/light pink to cream. I have Cardinals, Glowlights, Chain loaches, Zebra loaches, Discus and Rams and GBAs - I have already crossed off the parental list.

TM
Rams or GBA then?? Doubt that it would be the loaches and no way would it be the tetras as they would not stick to the glass.
Dave+Amy
too little - about a quarter the size of Ram eggs. Do snails lay eggs?? Can't think of which eggs would lay eggs this small

Dixon1990
Are you sure they were stuck to the glass? Cause glowlights are know to spawn alot in community tanks.
Dave+Amy
...could be jammed up against glass by plants I guess?

spoon
some types of snail eggs could almost meet that criteria , are they in clusters or 5 or more almost touching?

Dixon1990
I would go with the glolights or maybe you have a rare chainloach spawn? I dont know what their eggs look like though
Caryl
I go for snail eggs. If they were fish eggs they would have been eaten by now.
Dixon1990
Do you know any snails that lay like that?
Caryl
Nope but I don't have any snails either 8)
Dave+Amy
if those eggs did belong to my glowlights - how long would they take to spawn again?
Caryl
Depends  You may have several females, therefore it is possible at least one might be ready to spawn at any given time so you might get a continuous dropping of eggs.
