Guest
So you want ideas what to breed? You could try killies, livebearers, some sort of dwarf cichlids (they raise the fry themselves pretty much  ), corys, BNs or WCMM. What type of fish do you like? Guest
I'd get baby platys and watch them grow and they also breed easily so you'll get babies and get to watch them grow aswell or get kribs as the rasie their own fry and it's really cool to watch them. Ira
For the most part, most fish aren't going to have a significant difference in the amount of work it takes to keep them. Throw in food daily, water change and gravel vac weekly.
ninjafroglet
WCMM are coldwater, and pretty tough.
oeminx
paradise fish, they are cold water can live in a rice paddy so they are pretty hardy. if you buy smaller one then you get to watch them colour up. plus if you get a pair and a little more effort you can breed them. I think they are a pretty good choice
