henward
i have star grass, i was thinking of putting it at the back to get it to grow tall and high. someone said that they go black when they get tall and keep them low so should i just keep them crawling on the ground like a carpet or can they get pushy and tall with nice colours? JF
Depends how you grow it. With good fertiliser in the substrate and good lighting, and a couple weeks of being persistant, you can 'train' it to crawl. Otherwise usually it will just grow up and bush out. alanmin4304
Most people keep it spread out and short and that way you can get a carpet like look and avoid the plants going scraggly and black.
alanmin4304
If you grow it horizontally it will behave like Rotala rotundifolia and throw up vertical shoots.
