newfisher Posted August 12, 2008 Report Share Posted August 12, 2008 I am really tired of snails in my tanks. Tried the snail trap and picking them out one by one. So I have decided to buy some Zebra Striata Loaches. Does any one know if they will be alright with my BN's. The BN's are about 13cm and one is 6cm. Also can we get them in NZ? Sharkie Posted August 12, 2008 Report Share Posted August 12, 2008 you could try the dwarf chain loach im pretty sure they will do the trick and they only stay small and are quite attractive as well but if you do i would get at least half a dozen as they are social little things that enjoy interacting together. firefish Posted August 12, 2008 Report Share Posted August 12, 2008 you'll need to make sure to have a cave for each species (atleast) cos problems can occur if they want the same cave.
