livingart
What is a tumbler for? tumbler - type of pigeon, acrobat in the circus, drinking glass, for polishing semi precious stones, somebody who gets drunk and falls over all the time for africans maybe put them in the front loading washing machine and take them for a spin or maybe a negroid acrobat sorry haven't heard the term used before
Dixon1990
I THINK they are used to tumble Eggs when they are taken from the Female cichlids mouth.

nemines
i just used a thin tupperware type circular plastic container. used an airstone positioning it further up for less flow and further down for more flow. then adding a drop of methylene blue for fungus prevention. container should be circular to avoid eggs getting stuck in a corner. for tropheus i read that if tumbling them you shouldn't let them bounce just sort of roll about and ive had quite a bit of success recently. sold nine babies and have another nine well on the way
Ant N
Maybe look at brine shrimp hatching,ie. silicone a air-line elbow into soft drink lid, bottom cut off and inverted in tank. Low flow rate just enough to rumble eggs?fry around?
