discus_boy
my blue ram female has now become stressed and is breathing very fast and I know that this is not a goood sign. the male is in with her and is fine but she is hiding in the corners on her own and is not looking to well. Is there something I can do.

ryanjury
That is what happens to mine before they die I have no idea what causes it but have had no luck treating it with metro or prazi or salt or water changes.. Does she have any white things on her head?
mitzy
Come to think of it ryan My gold male was hanging in the corner a bit before he died but didnt think anything of it, not a mark on him appeared perfectly normal.
JK
my male did that before he died too. Kept to the corner and what looked like heavy breathing. Got extremely blue too that day and then just rolled over.

mumzy50
I would cover half the tank with a towel to keep it in semi darkness all ways helps if they are stressed.

Adrienne
with males their top fin sort of sticks up in a tuft at the front whereas the females is the same length. females also colour up like krib females with a pink under belly whereas the males only show a little colour. i thought i saw one female at your house the other night but then again i didn't see the males.
