alanmin4304 Posted July 11, 2008 Report Share Posted July 11, 2008 I think it is mayaca. Red pine is confused with Rotala wallichii but is actually another type of mayaca. That is the problem with common names. I have bought all sorts of rotala and they all turned out to be rotundifolia when grown emersed. R. wallichii has a white flower and I don't think it is in NZ.
