snake kid Posted August 14, 2008 Report Share Posted August 14, 2008 bred these before try puting some half submerged rocks in there water as they all most all ways go to bred in water and lay there eggs in water as for the bells put some live plants in there other than that frogs are knowen to be hermits and your frogs may just not want to bred the best way to fix this social problem is to add more frogs to your enclosure ALL WAYS MORE MALES THAN FEMALES !!!!! as the males may eat the females! hope this helps Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ANY info would be of great help keep them in tank with bowl as water source and no heat. increase heat to 30C- use a heat bulb or fishtank heater set to 32C - over 2 weeks and feed HEAVILY. Set up a 'rain chamber'- fancy name for tank with water and pump and spray bar ( fill tank with water and put in a filter hooked up to a spray bar ) and set this on a timer to come on for 15 mins every 30 mins from 10pm to 6am. Normally will croak on second to third night and breed within a week after. The greater the number of frogs the more likely to be a spawning. You can download frog calls from the internet and play to the frogs, or even imitate them to set them off. Just make sure you don't get caught croaking... DeAnimal Posted August 17, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 17, 2008 primo thanking you both Ive already had the laptop out there doing the crawk crawk crawk crok crok or however it goes the neighbours must think im mad :lol: I like the rain idea ill rig that up asap, so would you still have a small land area like 1/3 of tank dry for feeding or just some plants and driftwood/rocks for the frogs to perch on? other problem im finding is livefood like crickets and mealworm tricky to feed when mostly all water in the tank :-? - any tips on tht?
