Afrikan Posted June 9, 2008 Report Share Posted June 9, 2008 I pop them in our 1200 watt microwave for 20 seconds on high, so they are rather warm/hot to touch... then wrap them in a single layer of newspaper and tuck down against fish bag... we travel often like this over colder months carting fish and they have been excellent, with very cold overnight travel, I would use new ones or as I said, if the fish are going for a long distance stint.
