Dixon1990
Or if possible and if the tanks atleast 100L, Buy/borrow and silver dollar and take out the plants you want kept, and it will be gone in days.
Matthew
I have also been told increasing the waterflow at the surface prevents the duckweed from growing as rampantly as it does normally.
Dixon1990
I have also been told increasing the waterflow at the surface prevents the duckweed from growing as rampantly as it does normally. I tried this, It just ended up building up to a 1cm thick layer ontop of water in other places.
Afrikan
Yeap fast flowing water duckweed isn't that fond of, it still manages to stick around but doesn't mass as fast... I love putting scoops of duckweed in with our african mbuna, they like it 8)

Stella
Use a fine aquarium net to scoop it up, repeat until all is gone. No worries! I have done that in some of my tanks when I don't want it any more. I have lemna on purpose in my mudfish and kokopu tanks, provides a bit of surface cover for them.
