Wow, that is an awesome looking tank! Looks really mature too, how long have you been running it for? Those plants look really well established.

**EDIT** I see what you mean about snails! lol

This tank has been running for about a year in it's current configuration.

Here it is when it was a bit younger, and you can see the fish.

And we won't talk about the snails, except to say that if you don't want them in your tank, make sure you dose your plants with Potassium permanginate before you put them in your tank!

Yep, Stargrass.

It is actually a light green, not a washed out looking yellow, the MH light is a bit bright for the camera to handle.

Whats the fish in the bottom left corner on the secnd pic?

Sparkling Gourami - Trichopsis pumila

It snuck in with some plants, the tank is supposed to be a South American Biotope. It is not in there any more.

South american? :)

Ssshhhhh... it's a temporary thing for the non South American snail problem!

Haha, Im going to have non-south american snails in my Planted south american/discus tank :) Malayan Trumpets,They are really good in planted tanks and you dont see them during the day 8)

Hi & welcome!

You'll (as you already have seen) get lots of help here, people are great!

Zev have you been letting your fish listen to the Village People

And does that "grass" cover the entire bottom of your tank and do you still have to vacuum?

Take care & have fun,

Caper
