I have been feeding my fish on a regular basis so I am not so concerned about them, but I am concerned about my plants. I keep my aquarium lights on about 10-12 hours a day and I don't know how my plants will do with no light? How do you monitor the light while away from home? Interesting to know the price of the digital ones is so low now (all hail the almighty mr bunnings!). I would be interested to get a 7-day one. I had kinda thought about it, but don't want the fish to get used to not having the lights on as it might make them less comfortable/more shy when the lights are on. Mr Bunnings is fine, but try the Warehouse, where everyone gets a bargain. They have some nice digital ones with up to ten programmes on them for about eight bucks, which are the ones I use.
