Brianemone
my blue peacocks are fairly aggressive they get along ok with other cichlids but try and every thing else (including my ex pleco)
tamboe2001
a 3 foot tank really isnt big enough to house any more than 2 small to medium cichlids id suggest either getting one real agresive fish and just buying feeder fish for him to eat or get a bigger tank big enough for the fish to make territories and then when the boundaries are crossed it would be on for young and old
herefishiefishie
Probably better off going a colony of electric blues, yelows or peacocks. 1 to 2 males & 3 or 4 girls. Or if you want for a display. :-? If you can filter the tank well go for a mixture, hard to tell how many as it depends on how they get along. 5 to 8...As a rule 1 peacock(Aulonocara), 1 of the Zebra family, then mix & match colours. Dont go for venustus or similar grwo to big. or go for a pair of medium to small american, eg; salvinis Frenchy
malawi_man
i think you should go 4 sum electric yellows cos they reely light up the tank with a flourescent
