AMAZONIAN
Hi All. I got that many in a tank that you only have to dip a 7.5cm net in there to catch 20 or so. If freight wasn't so expensive I'd send you some.
DantezGirl
aww thanks for the offer ill go and see if the lfs has any will they do ok with guppy's
kd123
i have never housed them with guppys. I guess they would eat the fry and mine occasionally like to 'pester' other fish like large angels and, when i had them, the dwarf gouramis. If you decide to get some check out the long fin varieties, also the leopard danios are stunning. good luck and I hope someone has more info for you. DantezGirl
cool will do i dont mind if they eat the fry as the guppys are food for my axolotl's will ask before i get any though just to make sure
tinytawnykitten
Haha I tried to catch my danios today to transfer to another tank. After about half an hour I was swearing, sweating, and had uprooted virtually every plant and only caught 2. Have decided it is not worth the hassle!!
AMAZONIAN
Hi All. The catching of any swift moving fish is always a frustrating affair. It can be lessened to a large extent by the use of two nets. One to actually catch the fish, which is half the width of the tank., and another a quarter the width to act as a herding "DOG". It is also a good thing to remember to "keep your cool" and take your time. The more aggressive you are in trying to catch the fish, the faster they react as well. A catch twentytwo situation. Ira
Danios are easy...Try catching silver sharks in a big tank. Not only are they fast, they splash everywhere! I once spent about half an hour trying to catch 3 big ones with no luck...Then caught all 3 at the same time in one scoop.

jayci
Try catching them a couple of hours after dark, when they are sleeping. You still have to be quick about it, but it is easier.
