spoon
i have found silaflex RTV clear to be stronger than the selleys wet area or u could buy aquarium specific stuff at 4x the price i think animates down here sell it. ifs its not bonding take it apart and clean the whole thing up and start again clean it with isopropyl alchol or meths it should work after that. note 4 acrilic it may be easier to actually glue it with acriclic glue than use silicone
livingart
if you are using anything to clean glass, make sure you wash with water thoroughly afterwards, so as not to leave any residues for amphibians

georgeous
I have selleys glass sealant - It works fine for me (apart from leaking  (my fault thou))
evilknieval69
Getting silicone just right requires lots of practice. Are you using a wet finger to smooth it out? Also, is the area 120% dry where you are putting it, as if its not it wont stick properly. I always use the selleys glass silicone, and it has always been fine for me. I have used the silaflex rtv once when building a 250L tank, and i didnt find it any different to the selleys stuff
georgeous
Am now using an ice-block stick as opposed to the tube that comes with the silicone
evilknieval69
Way better to use your finger. I lick mine before i touch the silicone, but having a little container of water nearby to dip it into every now and again is better  the silicone wont stick to you if your finger is wet

Already have too much moss than my terrarium has room for!!! (powerthirst  (if you know it, good for you, if not - good for you again  )) That bottom fern came with a little shoot - so if it grows huge, there will be a smaller one to take its place  Thanks again, George

DantezGirl
was thinking about it the other day what about creating outline with large rocks using a little bit of pond liner and then adding dirt ect or would the water foul to bad
georgeous
It does have a seperater (sp). I think its quite good in a way, because old water will got to the land, for feeding the plants, and as I add more water, more will go to the plants, if you know what I mean
georgeous
With my plants, does anyone think I should get a light for them, and if so, what kind/size etc. of light should I get. Cheers, George p.s. I would like a quick reply please, as shops will close at
Guest
I don't have a light over my terrium. I would leave it for now and see if your plants survbive without it but I'm pretty sure that you won't need one.
