Cheesejawa
not muchm options for plants or fish in that tank with that size and temp. You could try white clouds. How high is it you could still fit a heater and that would open your options.
VinsonMassif
If you can't fit a heater in, what are you planning on doing for filtering? As for lights, you could go with a lamp shining over the tank. Realistically 13L is ok for a Betta is about all IMO. Or maybe some colourful rocks..... supasi
With such a small tank you will have problems of temperature. On hot days the temperature will rapidly increase and cool overnight(especially with autumn kicking in), this wont be the best conditions for keeping fish. Just a thought. Anna_&_Chris
well yea.. i just was on planted tank and they have tanks that are like 5 liters! like 2.5 gallon and 1.5 gallon tahts crazy! but its like a small piece of art really. ive got some val that i put in there the val was from the pond. wana put some java moss in there maybe. there are micro filters believe it or not =) suitable up to 15 liters! they tiny and should do the job.. yea the temperature would be a problem anyway even if i would have a heater in there. its still have to keep up. i remember i had a 10 liter tank and some guppies in there. they didnt care at all what temperature it was and i only changed water once a week. but all water of course.havnt even had a pump in there. only a couple plants. they were happy still were breeding thats why had to upgrade eventually. but was pretty cool. So yeah.. unless i will find a place where i can get like a realy small filter.. i dont know like 20W or 10W
Rufus
A few white cloud mountain minnows might be OK. They look nice in a well planted tank. You can get little lights that clip on the back of the tank for about $40, might be OK for a small tank.
