Caryl
Could be she is aborting and a fry has got stuck. Willing to give the blob a gentle tug? :-?
alanmin4304
As Caryl says it could be aborting. Don't forget that live bearers have eggs too, they just hatch before they are ejected. It is not unknown for live bearers to discharge eggs before they have "hatched"
Matthew
I recently watched my female guppy drop eggs, the other guppies enjoyed eating them !!! They were a yellow blob, probably 2mm diameter. I figured the male in with them was firing blanks so added another male who has done the business, now have fry instead of yellow blobs. It does raise the question why is it always the pretty males who fire blanks?
imsweet
Thats what happened to my platy. A yellow blob came out attatched was a white puffy-stringy thing. Then she seemed to get better.
