danilada
A pair (non-related) breed in Dec/Jan, only 6 survived. If I leave a male in the tank with mum, would it be bad if they "breed" I dont intend to breed them, but what "if"

There are genetic consequences, but more likely than not they will be fine.

Scuba Sam
My most prolific breeding pair of bristlenoses is a brother and two sisters - the carefully matched non-related pairs are slow to breed or just aren't doing it. Offspring look great, so relationships don't seem to matter much IME. Good luck.
Ira
Inbreeding really only starts to cause problems if it's done generation after generation.
