evilknieval69
When my fry first hatch i put them into small containers which are probably about 300 mls, then i move them up to a 2L tank after a week or two, then up from there
alanmin4304
The smaller the container the closer the food is.

Barrie
I hatch the eggs out then put them into containers that are about the size of takeaway containers. When the fry are about 10 to 23mm long I put them into the 300x 300 x 300 tanks untill they are either sold or given to other killi club people. Killi fry grow at different rates but normally after a week or so its time for the larger tanks. What type of Killis are you breeding? Barrie
Killis are easy to breed and to watch the eggs hatch and grow on is really great. I must admit that I do like peat spawners as to keep the "dirt" dry for anything from 10 week to 20 weeks then put it in water and watch the fry just apare is even better. Nigripinnis are peat spawners from south America and their name (Im told) means fish from the sky as when it rains, the fish majicly apare in the rain puddles. Off course, the eggs were in the dirt and simply hatched but the story help and encourages your interest in the fish. The Nigripinnis is the fish in my profile to the side.
