VinsonMassif
Hi. I have two Aqua One CF1200 canister filters on different tanks. One works perfectly 100% of the time. The other one is a PITA! It is 6 months old. All directions for use have been followed to the letter: Tray 1 (bottom) bioballs/blue sponge, #2 ceramic noodles/black sponge, #3 filter floss with Seachem purigen sachet. All tubes, connections, fittings, and seals appear to be in perfect condition. All fit and move how they are supposed to. The impellor is not loose. My problem with it: it has a trickle flow, and I cannot seem to keep air out of the circuit. I have reduced the head height to level with the tank. I will get it flowing and with in half an hour enough air builds up inside to stop the circuit from flowing. What suggestions can you give me please? Adrienne
there was a fault that came with a batch of cf1200 in that there was a small split in one of the attachments causing air to get in. all three of my 1200s had it and replacement parts were given without question. if its not a split get a total replacement under warranty as Caryl said
