tHEcONCH
From an email my loving Wife sent me: "Right – I need another coffee and something nasty and chocolatey to get me through to hairdressing time. I have been looking on your geek website and wonder if Squiggy might be Squiget and be suffering from PMT"

Swampy
looks like it was picked clean. My CBS eat my bristle worms and decimated my turbo snail population but why didnt the clam just close up if it was attacked?
tHEcONCH
I dont know - I'm amazed that there isn't something left

wasp
but why didnt the clam just close up if it was attacked? There is an opening at the back, if a predator can gain access to that, the clam is doomed. But having said that, it seems hard to believe that little squiggy could fit 2 entire clams in her gut in one sitting. I'm tempted to wonder if squiggy is getting falsely accused and there is another, unseen, but even more evil menace lurking.
evilknieval69
Bristleworms. Were both the clams that got slaughtered in the rocks?

tHEcONCH
Yep, they were both up on the rocks, but attached - still, there are some biggish bristleworms up there. I might have to rename Squiggy 'The Teflon CrustacEON'
tHEcONCH
why don't u keep him but dont buy any more clams? That's a definite possibilty - I'm not certain that the RSM lights are bright enough for clams (that are down on the bottom, anyway), and Squiggy is kind of cool.
