Mrs Frog
Can a baby RES handle a tank with deep water? 30-40cm approx deep. Oh and should I be taking him out for some drying time for his shell? If he is 2.5 inches long, how old would he be??
alanmin4304
It will be OK provided there is an easily accessable area that it can get up on to dry out and get some sun.

tHEcONCH
Don't forget turtles, especially baby turtles, need UV light for their shells to form properly - if you are keeping him inside, you MUST get a UV flourescent tube (these need to be replaced evey nine months), or else put him in the sun every few days. alanmin4304
You can't realy tell their age by size as it is dependant on how well they have been fed.
