henward
strange, im used to animals that just gulp and comsume food like a maniac. discuss is something a lil different, it seems that when they eat they eat and spit some out every time, eventuually you see the belly swell abit but hey dont seem to take large chunks and eat it like other fish. very slow eaters
tHEcONCH
Yep, that's why they struggle to get enough to eat when they are with more aggressive fish like Angels.

Matt
Providing they are healthy and you have plenty of plants and some dither fish to make them feel secure, they will put themselves on display. Discus are pigs once they have settled in, and will normally come to the surface begging for food when they see you. Cheers, Matt
A-town...
Have to agree with matt there. Mine basically jump out the water when its feeding time. Anyone would think they are malawi cichlids ahahahahaha
sharn
Mine used to be real gutsy feeders when they were younger but i have noticed they definatly take their time now that they are adults. Theres no show like a discus trying to impress its partner, hope you get to see that soon
