Aaron-Betta
Seriously, I am not going to harm my fish in any way, but I had a female fighter in one of those spawning nets overnight in a tank of 3 week old fighter babies, just to give her a bit of space after spawning and planned to return her to her normal tank in the morning. When I woke up this morning there was no babies left in the tank except this one large (now fat) female fighter.... and no female in the spawning net Damnit! Caryl
She wasn't being bad, she was doing what comes naturally.
Aaron-Betta
yea, It was my fault for putting her in there and expecting her not to jump out. More frustrated than anything, I had paired up 2 fish that were carrying the melano black gene trying to selectively breed a black fighter but she ate them all. That'll teach me. Aaron-Betta
The parents aren't pure black, they still have blue and red in the fins, I am trying through selective breeding to get rid of those colours to get just black.
