herefishiefishie
Do you know for sure that he is male & the rest are girls? What size are the fish, tank, what else is in there... Frenchy
SpidersWeb
I'd suggest getting rid of him, and getting another.
tHEcONCH
That is fairly normal Discus behaviour. If you think it is getting really out of hand you can make them 're-negotiate' the territory - take them all out of the tank, re-arrange all the plants and logs, do a water change, then reintroduce him LAST, at least 20 minutes after the others go back in. You might just end up with a different one dominating the others, though.
herefishiefishie
A happy settled discus display tank does have a pecking order, but all fish are out in the open, have their space etc. {IMO} It shouldn't have one hounding the rest. fulloc
yep i agree wit all that, mine are the same and definitely the best way to go is to re- introduce the troublemaker, i have even put one in time out for 2 weeks in isolation oand sorted most of my probs out. there will always be an alpha however. jus make sure they all get to feed
