Try a specialist paint shop, or automotive paint supplier, they may not stock it, but if 3M have it in NZ they should be able to order it in for you. I found the NZ 3M website and sent them an email asking if its available etc and got this reply Rogan, We haven't as a general rule imported Colorquartz brand Crystals into NZ ,except in past years we have arranged FOB shipments, container loads, for roofing tile manufacturers. There has been several enquiries of late from individuals requiring black crystals for fish tanks, but not of a volume nature that would be an economic proposition. Suggest that you enquire with www.boulderbay.co.nz , or check for colorquartz on google.com .I see that several NZ operations have sourced product from overseas. Most use in NZ would be swimming pool manufacturers ,who source from a distributor in Australia. Regards John M. ryanjury Posted October 17, 2007 Report Share Posted October 17, 2007 lol I think he's trying to get around the $$ that aqua one would cost everyone You can buy like 20-30kg of most gravel for the price of like 5 at a petshop I think thats all they do buy it in bulk cheap as and package it up sell it for a huge profit..
