Barrie
For the 2nd time I have found a fry swimming around with its parents. The tank is basicly bare except for a mop and a sponge filter. How common is this? and what other spiece is not too bad with their fry? Ive now decided to float some java fern on the top and some java moss on the bottom and see what happens I always thought that Gardneri were a bit on the hungry side when it came to their fry
paul_r
I too would agree that the gardneri are very hungry critters, always coming charging at my finger when feeding microworm, and some jump out of water when going after flake. However have not seen any fry in with their parents
alanmin4304
I have never found fry as I always keep males and females seperated. It gives the females a rest and a chance to build up some condition. It also makes them more enthusiastic when they do get together.
