Caryl
I have seen them up to about 12cm and they can attack other fish by sucking the protective mucus off their bodies. Having said that, mine never did but I know of a number that did so
HummingBird
I had one that got to around 15cm eventually, he was my first fish. He was an absolute terror, he killed his tank mate the first week I had him and many more fish after that, but I couldn't bring myself to get rid of him because I was attached to him. Tsarmina
i had 2, a male and female. the male was smaller @ 15cm. the female got stuck in a hole in her terracotta pot as she was full of eggs. we got to her too late. still have the male. never attacked any of my fish, but will chase my female bristlenose who is about the same size. coelacanth
I've got one small one currently, about 10cm long. He hates black ghosts so I had to move him away from them, but the only other thing he has a problem with is horse-face loaches. Go figure. HummingBird
My guy was in a tank with guppies and corydoras for a while, he was fine with the guppies but took out all but two of the cories, eventually I moved him to a 4ft tank with a full sized Oscar, they seemed alright together but one day I found him dead. Not sure how he died, there weren't any noticeable wounds but I have to wonder if he pushed the Oscar and got pushed back. Ah well, these things happen. His name, for the record, was Alfred.
