firenzenz
Thought I'd put up some recent pics of some of the plecs, but without identifying them. See if you wanted to give them names and reasons why. Anyone else got some pics to do the same with. A bit of fun on a crappy night.

Adrienne
was it at hollywood fish farm, mt roskill this morning and they have about 4 L260, about $215 each. is this a reasonable price?
mr pleco
yeah resonable for the size they are and considering they dont come in often have heard they are all males so hope yr not counting on getting a pair
Nicolette
Mate you are an impressive photographer... I have just spent the last hour trying to take a pic of my gold spot plec.... and I do photography as a hobby (only when no fish are spawning of course) Anyway kudos on the pics. Awesome fish. firenzenz
had a look at L260's at hollywoods. I can't help thinking that the Breeders our importers deal with take us for a ride. Another bunch of solely male fancy plecs brought in at a size and age where they are sexable. Wasn't quick enough to get any L254(?) that came in. Have seen them though, look to be nice fish. Nicolette- Cheers! for comments. I am fortunate to have a camera that makes me look good.
mr pleco
totally agree fire must be at least 15 to 20 L260s in the country and all are male whats the odds someones playing a game and it suxs i aint blaming the lfs the can only buy whats available but if we want to sustain these fish in nz then we have to have pairs otherwise they will end up on the L046 list (lovely but never available) ditto on the pics dude have tried some with mine but either i aint that patient or they aint that willing yep saw the L254 would have loved the trio but alas some baby beat me too them

firenzenz
Nice fish Dragoz- The nugget has always been on my plec list along with the magnum- when you want a 1000ltr display tank for plecs and don't need top fish-do you have issues? Dracoz
Fire nuh..don have that problems at the moment as yet to be able to have a 1000L tank. Well, the goldie is nice, but yet has always wanting to own a Zebra Plecs since i was a kid, couldn't have them at that stage, mum and dad won't alllow it. Now, it is almost impossible to get any, been looking and waiting for years! not to mention the price tag on those has gone beyond reach as i was told. May be one day i will be able to own one, two or a few. well,,dreams are free!
