livingart
yes i have had salamanders in the past was going to try on some goldens, but didnt get round to it. ended up selling all the young go to freezing works and see if you can get some thyroid glands from sheep, and feed this in small amounts you'll need to find a cooperative knifehand also small amounts of marine iodine in water and slowly lower water level do this with young axys under 2 inches. older ones if they do change dont live very long the big problem with changing them is the axolotyl in the pet trade is one that tends to stay in the larval form (axolotl) it was easier for scientists to keep and breed these for study into limb regeneration

alanmin4304
Is it not ilegal to keep salamanders? You can get the thyroid gland from a butcher if you ask for sweetbreads.
