LoGaN
how do i put a cory from a tropical tank to a coldwater ?
andyman98
i'd take the heater out and let the water slowly cool down then when it's cold enough move him to the coldwater tank.(thats what i do with wcmms anyway)
LoGaN
but there are other fish in the tank with them
andyman98
then i'd just float them in a bag then release them

Not all are as cold tolerant as C. paleatus for example. > i wannah put them in cold water just so that the goldfish will > have some mmore company they seem very lonley I'm not sure goldfish are able to feel lonely or otherwise. LoGaN
um bronze corys corydorus.aneus um well i just think it would make the tank look a little more interesting to
Ira
The goldfish won't be lonely. But if you want a bit more variety in the tank, go for it. IF it's a species that can handle the cold.
Interfecus
If you have a free tank then the best possible method would be to put them in there with a heater and decrease the temperature by a couple of degrees each day to slowly change it without giving them a shock. This is probably a bit excessive though.
