andyman98
would i be able to breed paradise fish outside in a swimming pool from now until the start of summer?
Alan_au
That question some how dose not sound right ! From now till the end of Summer maybe, but leaving your run a little late in the season! depends on the temperature of your pond mid summer whether they breed or just swim happily around. Tho paradise will survive very low temps, they like it around 22 C to get in the mood. Alan
Caryl
I thought the same thing. I know you are in Nelson andyman but summer is almost over  Try it next summer.

Matthew
be very careful doing this. I once had a nice pair of pearl gouramis, that one day up and disappeared from my pond outdoors. Still don't know where they are to this day, and I haven't recieved any photos from foreign places. maybe i should have stuck with gnomes
Caryl
Gouramis have great difficulty taking photos due to their fin structure so they tend not to send holiday snaps - unlike gnomes who delight in having themselves photographed in well known locations  It is also possible a fishing gnome got your gouramis
andyman98
can you have pearl gouramis outside? and i think birds may have taken your gouramis.
Dark
you didn't lose you car around the same time did you? my gourami have changed the channel on the TV before in a mad flying effort to get away from shortland street.
Matthew
didn't lose the car, and I don't watch shortland st. The water was monitored for temperature, and at that time the temp was such that the fish could be kept in the outdoor pond. however this was shortlived as something got them. Cold air above a pond at night could do a gourami some serious mischief... Andrew.
