paekakboyz
Hi All, Have set up a small 25L Quarantine tank to screen new fish etc and I was wondering how long I should keep new arrivals in there before releasing them into the main tank... Currently have 6* Cory's - about 2-2.5cm long and all swimming well and outwardly looking healthy (at the moment!). what are people's systems for this sort of thing? cheers! Adrienne
I had 4 weeks recommended to me by a few fish keepers on this forum and have kept to this. No problems in my tanks anymore!
sharn
I go for a month or longer myself. The way i see it is im not prepared to risk losing a whole tank of fish so i can wait a little longer for that extra peace of mind- many nasties can take a few weeks or more to show up in the first place.
