Slightly Blue Dalmation
Hi i initially bought 2 small ones both expected to be females, but one turned out to be a male which is chasing the female around a bit, is it worth getting another female or 2 to sort the male out? AMAZONIAN
Put the suspect male into a preserving jar and float it in the tank. (FISH PRISON) That should quieten him down a bit so as he can be released after about a week.
me love fishy
I would still probably get another couple of females if your tank is big enough, and ensure they have places they can hide, mine like to hide in my java fern if they are being harrassed. Adrienne
As Amazonian says. Are these the only two fish in the tank and is it planted. If there are other fish in there and plants they should be okay. Otherwise another 2-3 will quiten him down completely.
je_suis_ketan
I've heard different things. Some people have said that their two females killed the male. Other people have said their male killed the two/three females. I think it depends on the fish themselves.
