hmmm...just wondering if its normal for cardinals to have no colour in the mornings when i turn the light on???

yep.....my neons do that too

they almost seem to turn their colours on when the tank lights go on and they start to move around again..... :roll: maybe it's so that the nocturnal more predatory fish can't see them so easily in the dark

mine too seem to change colour for sleeping..............maybe their pyjamas are drab and their day clothes colourful

I notice this happens with other fish too.

My neons do it as well
