ahhh ok...so maybe the platies were the prob...but anyway its all under control now oh...and i defo WILL keep showing of my tank...its just sooooo cool!!!! sumo

well the latest fish i added was my platies...and that was well over a week ago... could the fish get scared if people come up to the tank heaps and just look into it...??? because everyone who has come over to my house lately...has been shown my beauty...my tank...and all the cool fish... sumo

ok...heres what happened today.... i took a sample of water to get tested...the guy at the lfs tested it...he tested ammonia and nitrate...ammonia was still zero...and then he looked at the nitates...he said that they were fine...i didnt look at the readings....but he said that my water was FINE!!!! so theres the deal...and i feel very happy about it all sumo :lol:

oh thanks for that...well no more fish...that ive seen have had the whitespot...so it was just on the bn and zebra danio...both fish seem to be fine... will keep you all posted over the next few days sumo

well as some of you know from last nights chat room that 2 of my fish had ich...so just after i left the room...i went to see if i had some of that mal...(cant remember the full name of it...)...but it was that blue/greeny thing...so i added some of that stuff in...just hoping that it would help...then did the same thing when i got home from school...well luckily no more fish have had it...the spots on the pleco...have seemd to have gotten smaller...(or its just my imagination hoping they ahve ) well...news on the new baby platy...it seems to be growing...feeding it crushed flakes twice a day...when should i do a water change???? ive read every 3-6 days is fine...but i only have one baby... so do you think i'll need to a water change on the weekend??? well...i'll be going to go to the lfs on the weekend...and i'll have more info then... sumo

well...most people told me to not do a water change for about 1-2 months...as i was setting it up...so i left ir for about 1 month and a half was that too long or something???? sumo

ive got a male and female dwf gourami....and ive just done my first water change for since ive had the tank set up (mid january) and both seem fine...infact all my fish seem fine... i got my pair of dwarfs only two weeks after the tank was set up...i only had a small problem with the male...he was really vicous at first...attacking the female and zebra danios...but he calmed down a lot lately...he just swims around showing of his bright colours...he really is an amazing fish...but my female is also very pretty...silver....with irregular patterns of shiny blue scales say do you have anymore gouramis??? sumo

well...when i came home form school...it was still swimming around...so i moved the mum back into the community tank... ive put a few crushed flakes in..but it doesnt seem to notice them...the baby is onyl abuot .5 - 1cm...hard to get a good estimate sumo

when i woke up this morning i saw a little thing swimming with my panda cories...IT WAS A BABY PLATY...i moved it into the breeding tank...and the mum...although im beginning to think i shouldnt have done that im sooo excited...hopefully when i come home she should have more babies.... and i just hope that she didnt have them over night...and they got eaten sumo
