Breeding Angels

i guess any temporary tank would be ok for breeding over two foot. they like to lay on smooth verticle surfaces near the top of the tank. mine lay on the filter power head & any leaves of plants that are near the surface. i have seen pics of breeders that hang slate from the hood then remove them away from the parents. mine always eat their eggs on the second day.

Yeah note what alanmin said about the slate near the surface. That is important. Angels like to lay up high on anything smooth. If they don't think they have anywhere to lay they will lay on the glass like my latest pair did the other day. Water changes are great for getting them going too. once they start spawning though have fun turning them off.
