smidey
if you dont have a heater you could borrow from another tank, how about putting hot water bottles around the tank?
Ianab
Float a plastic drink bottle of hot water in the tank, leave the room heater on overnight, and put a blanket over it to keep the warmth in. You might need to change it a couple of times over the night. 20C isn't a crisis yet, but you dont want it going much lower, especially this weather Cheers Ian
jason_sheman
can i just use house heater to blow toward the tank.. by the way, my tank is ar380.....will the heat from the house heater blown make the tank break?
Ira
You do realize that all that glass is in contact with a very large volume of water that does a very good job of absorbing any heat from the glass, right? Try putting a paper cup on the fire, it won't burn except above the waterline.
jason_sheman
i m not actually worry about it burn....just worry about it crack up.....like when u put cold water and warm water in a cup
Ianab
It shouldn't break the tank, but you have no control over the temp. Hate to wake up in the morning and find the tank over 30 deg By putting a hot water bottle in it/beside it it will only raise the temp a couple of degrees. Much safer. Pegasus
Do you have an electric blanket...? Drape it around it and set it on the lowest setting. Insulate it against the tank with paper or a blanket if you are worried. Bill.
