fattythecatty
I'm not sure of the equation, can anyone tell me the litres in this tank? And to make it worse the measurements are in inches.......L=29,H=15, D=15. I've been given this tank but haven't picked it up yet. The measurements tell me it's not very tall so what would be good to keep in it, I'm thinking maybe a couple of feature fish, some great plants and a good size school of small tetras? any suggestions? evilknieval69
I cant be bothered figuring out the literage but that is a not too bad sized tank. Its about 38cm high and wide, and about 75ish cm long i think.
markoshark
go to google and type in "29 inches to cm" (73.5x38x38) Basically its a 2foot tank 106L

evilknieval69
Was thinking maybe a pair of rams might be nice in there, what do you think? Tank too small? Oh hell no, a pair of rams in there would be wicked. its actually not a bad sized tank. you could have a pair of rams, some algae eaters, some schooling fish and even a bigger 'feature' fish or two.... Jo0sh
i think the best way to work out the volume of the tank is to count the number of buckets used to fill for the first time.
jn
Remember too.. gravel etc will make a difference. I'd go with keeping track when you fill it to be on the safe side. Especially on a longer tank, the level you fill it to will make a difference.
