fishtv
Hi guys. I am looking into getting a few of these guys but want to know if my 160l tank will be big enough for them? Many people have told me that I should have between 3-5 of them in the tank? Do they need to be all females or what is a good ratio? And will they be ok with the following? Swordtail Angels Blue Rams Neons Dwarf Honey gouramis and guppies? Thanks in advance! Happy long weekend all! :bounce:

Ira
160l will be far more than enough for them. I've had several hundred of them in a tank that size... Man, I hate pearl gouramis...
smidey
i have a pair in my 200L with a pair of angels. they could ideally have more room, especially when the angels are spawning. prob has more to do with the height of your tank as they tank the same space as the angels & hang around the top. fishtv
Great thanks for your help! While I am here can anyone tell me anymore about the Opaline gouramis? Will a pair of them become too large for my tank? I have a feeling they will?

HummingBird
Depends on the dimensions of your tank, but yeah they can get pretty big.
