Dixon1990
Ive been thinking about setting up a small african tank for a while now and have now decided that i would try to set up a small one with just a few Neolamprologus multifasciatus or something similar to start off with then upgrade later. I have read that you can have a small colony of these in a 40L, so do you thnk would 3 or 4 be alright in a 60L for a while? Thanks

fishy_t
I've spend HOURS trying to find shell dwellers in NZ (over several years) - as far as I know you can't I know there are a few people who want some - if we all stick together we can always try and get some money together and bring some in!!! Anyone else up for it??!

Dixon1990
Could i keep a couple leleupi in this tank instead? In the following article it says this size tank would do.http://www.fnzas.org.nz/articles/fish_articles/lemon_cichlid/
malawi_man
I think they would be fine, as long as you dont have 2 pairs breeding or something.
Dixon1990
Cool. How hard are Leleupi to get hold of?
malawi_man
there are quite a few around, don't think they've been on the importer lists lately, maybe someone could clarify this?
Afrikan
I haven't seen Lelu on the lists for a long time now. Last time they came in tho... the stock was absolutely stunning a rich lemon yellow.. and lovely condition. They retailed tho for around $45-$50 each if I remember rightly.
