Johannes Visser
Hi thought I would share its not every day this happens Few months back I purchased 4 Electra's and grew them up. But no sign of breeding so we striped down the tank and vented them, all females ! Picked up 5 more over this last 2 weeks in the hope of finding a male, and........... they are all females ! smidey
i purchased three e yellows & all were females. maybe females are more common in the wild as males can spawn with many females.

malawi_man
you're lucky getting 3 female yellows, people always seem to be after them. Johannes, I'm getting some electra soon, if I end up with more males than i need would you swap a male for a female?
Johannes Visser
Females have been showing signs of breeding eg egg layers out etc You could purchase fry when available, but fist few batches are all ready reserved Will see how things go and will keep you in mind. Alan
KK, as the males are so hard to get I'd go for two girls for a boy.
