Fish_Tank
The india giant gourami gets 10cm oh...and catfish_dude owns 2 of them the "giant gourami" is a huge fish but geing a anabantoid, I'm guessing they won't need as much space as other fish of their size. I would want a minimum of 6 x 3 x 3 for this fish personally

TeeCee
In an attempt to bring the conversation back to a more realistic size (for those those enjoying little boxes made of breakable stuff) - I own 8 sparkling pygmy gourami - are these the smallest???? :-? Alan
絲足鱸 should not be kept in a tank smaller than 600mm wide and forming three cubes, IMHO. That, I would think, would be a minimum, but I put this fish into the same class as the pacus that have recently graced out shores. They should not be available to be used in glass prisons for their huge size. Maybe in public aquariums, but homes, uh uh! Alan
Matthew
unless your home is setup like a public aquarium

Severus
I saw the giant one in the Hutt pet store yesterday, but apparently there used to be an even bigger one that was sold recently. Man, it was so ugly but yet so cool. If only I had $200....
