HELP, HELP, aqua safe

Recommended Posts

Our water needs aqua safe, I wasn't paying attention and accidently doubled the amount that I put in my 44 gallon tank. Everyone seems to be doing fine, with a few exceptions. The water is cloudy and I have an aquatic frog. He doesn't seem to be able to go down to the bottom of the tank, where he normally stays. He is floating on top. I took him out and put him in a small tank with no aqua safe. Is there anything I can give him/her. Do you think maybe his bladder is ballooned up, or something. I am very green at this. We have 3 gouramis, a corydora, a japanese sucker, 3 guppies, and two baby guppies, two mollys, 1 balloon molly, and about 12 tetra's (different varieties). Any suggestions? Thanks, Kelae

hi kelae - welcome to the forum

I haven't used the aqua safe product ...but some water changes in the tank will dilute what you have got in there. We have a lot of people here on the forum who keep frogs and will be able to help with froggy advice.

good luck and let us know how you get on

Welcome Kelae

Why does your water need Aqu safe?

you didn't say.

Frogs are super sensitive to chemicals in the water.

What sort of frog, other than "aquatic" is it.

Our NZ frogs are not tropical creatures,

so not sure if the fish tank is the right environment for it to be in.

Where do you hail from, this may negate what I've just said about NZ.
