casanae Posted January 10, 2004 Report Share Posted January 10, 2004 Hi, I have some hygrophila polysperma, a few of them grow pinkish coloured leaves, this happens at all depth levels in my aquarium. Ira Posted January 10, 2004 Report Share Posted January 10, 2004 I believe it's because of high light. I doubt it's too much light because my tank is far from highly lit. casanae Posted January 10, 2004 Author Report Share Posted January 10, 2004 Yep, leaves are pink except for the veins, the reason why I wasn't sure about it being too much light is because some plants with leaves right at the top of the tank are green, others are pink and they are bottom half to just above mid depth of my tank.
