fishtv
Hey guys I've started to plant my tank and noticed a few of my plants who have been there for some time seem to be turning slightly brown. It this something to do with light? Thanks in advance!
jim r
There are a few variables, light ,temp, water hardness,ph, depth. I suggest you google the names of your plants to find if they are suitable to the conditions you have.Or Pm Plantman he may be able to help you. Caryl
Sometimes they will get a light brown dusting of algae on them as they get established and this goes away after a while.
fishtv
ok thanks heaps. They seem to be growing well so hopefully this is just algae?
alanmin4304
Most plants you buy have been grown emersed and so that part of the plant remains pretty dormant. You should find that the new growth is not as susceptable to algae.
