reef
1073.160 is freshwater only, only 1073.090is for salt 8300l/h All on indent only.
chimera
1073.160 is freshwater only, only 1073.090is for salt 8300l/h I believe that is incorrect. 1073.160 is freshwater only, but ONLY if you are using it submerged. It will work for saltwater if you use it externally (not submerged)

reef
believe that is incorrect. 1073.160 is freshwater only, but ONLY if you are using it submerged. It will work for saltwater if you use it externally (not submerged) I believe you correct on this one chimera . the reason the 1073.140 and 7073.160 cant be submerged is Because the 1073.14 and 1073.16 operate on higher than mains frequency by using electronics. As a result they need a driver which while encased in resin has an exposed aluminum heat sink. Salt water will react with aluminum and the produced salts are toxic.
