Pies
Very nice Reef. As always you have some of the nicest soft corals about. Here is my effort, I only have about 4 species of soft coral in my tank: Above is a sarcophyton. Its the largest coral in my tank, approx the size of a persons head! I have 3 clowns who have taken it as their host as I have no anonmne. This coral has lovley bright green polyps and is often a visitors favorite. A nice varity of pulsing Xenia. Fast growing (by coral standards) and able to open and close it polyps to filter feed without water motion. Mine is a similar or same varity as the one in Reefs picture. Enjoy & lets see some more softies please guys! JetSkiSteve, let see em! Tank Details: 1600L x 650H x 700D + sump/refugium - 900 litres DelTec APF850 Skimmer Lighting 2x 250 watt Metal Halide + 4x 80W T5 Calcium Reactor - Korallin 4001 DIY Kalkwasser dosing system (6L daily) Circulation 30,000 litres an hr (Tunze Stream, Sea Swirl, Closed loop & sump return) Pies
lduncan
I'm off to aussie next week, so i'll be back with a digital camera and finally get some pics up of my tank and corals. I'll hopefully be able to pick up some tunze streams as well. Does anyone know if anyone sells them here in NZ?
Pies
Layton I brought 2x Stream 6100 and controller in NZ. The price was a little better than anything I could find in .au, total NZ including postage to me was $1375.00 kiwi. Are you looking for 1, or 2 or a kit? Cameras. I can buy these through my work at cost (wholesale + post and GST). I have organised these for a few people, and can garantee a better price that anywhere else as I do it as a favor to fellow reefers. Cash only however. I am also off to .au later in the month. I am going to Sydney, were you off too? Pies

lduncan
Pies I'm off to Melbourne for the tennis. Yeah i'm looking at 2 6100's to start me off, probably overkill, but I think of it as future proofing for when I setup my 900 gallon system ;-). As far as camera's go i've got a couple of wholesale sources as well, one of which is in Melbourne. Layton
Pies
Pies reef A.K.A the washing machine. Layton. Consider purchase of the 6000 not 6100 if your using a sand bed. No mater how I postition mine they just dig a hole in the sand. In some ways I wish I had brought the 6000 and used 3-4 not 2 6100s. That being said I want to turn my water over on average 60x + an hr. That being said, I wanted to future proof my system too. Best pumps on the market. I'd like to talk to you about that 400 watt lights your using too, mind emailing me some details (bulbs and ballasts etc, and suppliers). JetSkiSteve. There is no upload a picture option, you need to link it from somewhere else (Reef is using UR). Reef may be in a better position to show you how to do it than me. Otherwise just give me a call and we will see how we go. Ohhh thanks for the help on the PH thing to, I can't wait. Let see some pics! Pies
This leather was donated to me by a reefer in Auckland. It may not be the nicest in the world, but hey, beggers can't be choosers!
